Sr Accountant (Accountant III)

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
• Self-motivated team player with an ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including overtime
• Ability to function in a fast-paced team environment
• Detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and adhere to tight timelines
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel
• Knowledge of AS400 and Lawson accounting programs a plus

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of experience in an accounting environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries
• Perform various month-end reporting and account reconciliations
• Perform balance sheet and income statement analysis
• Provide project assistance and support for the accounting department and other functions of the business
• Provide assistance / training to other team members
