Optimum Re Insurance Company is a life reinsurance company active in most American states and in several Caribbean Islands. Acquired in 1987 by the Optimum Group but founded in 1978, the company operates from its main office located in Dallas (Texas). We initially targeted small to mid-size insurance companies with the mission of supporting their development, but has recently broadened its scope and now provides life reinsurance services to large size companies as well. It provides clients with a range of turnkey products adapted to their own markets, while offering them traditional individual reinsurance products such as life, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage. The company has also developed very strong expertise in critical illness, a growing line of business in the US.
