American International Underwriters (AIU) manages AIU Holdings, Inc.’s overseas property-casualty operations, the most extensive foreign network of any insurance organization. Stretching across Asia and the Pacific to Latin America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, AIU markets a full range of property-casualty products to both consumer and commercial clients.
AIU continues to launch new products and distribution initiatives in an effort to capitalize on opportunities in global markets. The trends underlying these opportunities include infrastructure development, privatization, the rising middle class in Asia, Latin America, and Central and Eastern Europe, growing intraregional trade, changes in the legal environment in many countries, and advances in technology.
