Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Victor. This role will be based in Jacksonville, FL; Bethesda, MD; or Broomfield, CO. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.Manages new business applications and client inquiries while supporting underwriting through evaluating rate adjustments, processing quotations, handling binder issues, and following up on outstanding requests. Additionally, processes policy changes, cancellations, and claims, generates invoices, organizes training for new support staff, and assists in policy setup and information gathering to facilitate the underwriting process.
We will count on you to:
- Manages new business applications, answers incoming client/broker inquiries and initiates outgoing calls to support the growth of new business accounts.
- Evaluates rate adjustments for all quotations with existing coverage and reviews new business quotations received from plan advisors/brokers/underwriters.
- Handles binder issues, follows up on underwriter quotes, distributes quote letters, and follows up on outstanding requests to support the underwriting process.
- Processes change requests, cancellations and reinstatements, generates invoices, handles accounting issues, and processes claims to support underwriters business accounts.
- Organizes training and development opportunities for newly hired support staff.
- Reviews, sets up and issues policies and gathers information to support the preparation of the underwriting process.
- 2+ years of customer service experience in Property & Casualty insurance, or a bachelor's degree in risk management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent client service
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Marine insurance experience
- Bachelor's degree in risk management

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $52,000 to $110,700.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
