Our client is a successful mid- sized fund administrator based in Singapore and is seeking a Fund Accountant for their growing team.

Some of the Key Responsibilities include:

• Handle fund accounting tasks such as transaction processing, fee calculations, reconciliation, NAV reporting, and preparation of annual financial statements following relevant standards (US GAAP/IFRS/SFRS). Also, manage audits and address related queries.
• Experience in Transfer Agency operations, including subscriptions, redemptions, and capital call & distribution calculations.
• Laise with fund and SPV clients and foster strong relationships. This also includes working closely with external stakeholders as needed.
• Be involved with investor onboarding, manage capital calls, distributions, and handle GST and tax filings with external advisors, as well as regulatory reporting.
• Perform additional tasks such as administrative tasks aligned with business requirements.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent. Candidates who are CA qualified or equivalent will be a plus.
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience as a Fund Accountant, with exposure to open-ended or closed-ended funds; Transfer Agency (TA) experience is essential.
• Ability to multitask and work unsupervised in a team environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and influential skills to communicate with senior stakeholders to get the work done.
