Overview

Kelly Plantation Golf Club, an 18-hole semi-private golf course in Destin, FL, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Club Accountant / Bookkeeper. This role manages the club's complete accounting function, ensuring accurate financial records, payroll, member accounts, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Essential Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain QuickBooks financial records, documentation, and reports
• Prepare month end journal entries and bank reconciliations
• Reconcile daily cash counts and credit card receipts
• Process ADP payroll, including tip allocation, timekeeping, and PTO tracking
• Update member accounts, generate statements, and manage billing adjustments
• Process accounts payable invoices and vendor payments
• Prepare federal, state, and local tax filings (W-2, 1099, 1095, sales & use tax, TPP tax)
• Submit data for insurance audit requests, license renewals, and compliance reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end revenue balancing.                                                                                                                                                   Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience and an Associate of Accounting degree or technical certificate.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and standards
• Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance, ideally in hospitality, country club, or golf operations
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and financial reporting tools, particularly Excel
• EZSuite (Golf 365 Premier) experience preferred, but not required
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
• Knowledge of payroll processing, AP/AR, bank reconciliation, and statutory compliance
